Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your email address when you request membership or support. We may also collect limited public-site analytics to understand page performance and improve the experience.

If you use the OfRoot Health app, we may collect account information such as name, email address, and user ID; Apple Health and fitness signals you choose to share; symptom entries; notes; recordings; uploads; and files you add to your private timeline.

How we use it

We use that information to communicate OfRoot updates, respond to inquiries, and improve the product and public site.

In the app, we use your information for app functionality, including sign-in, Apple Health sync, personal signal context, private timeline views, visit-ready summaries, exports you request, and care-team sharing choices you control.

Health app data

OfRoot reads health data from the Apple Health app only after you grant permission. You can change Health app permissions in iOS Settings. OfRoot does not use HealthKit, health, symptom, note, or upload data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Sharing

We do not sell personal health information. We share information only as needed to provide the service, operate secure infrastructure, comply with law, or honor care-team and export choices you make inside the product.

Informational use

OfRoot provides informational health-context tools. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or replace professional medical care.

Data security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
